An Introduction to Dr. Raymond Sue

drsueDr. Raymond Sue completed his undergraduate studies in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, B.C. Canada in 1997. While completing his studies, he gained experience as the Head Kinesiologist at Surrey Sports and Rehabilitation Physiotherapist Corp. While there, he worked side by side with physical therapists in overseeing and implementing physical rehabilitation programs for a variety of injured patients. After seeing how patients typically improved dramatically quicker with chiropractic care compared to physical therapy, he became skeptically interested in what chiropractic was all about. It was during this time that he sustained an unfortunate chain of injuries from both playing sports as well as through an automobile accident. Frustrated with the results he got from medicine and physical therapy he turned to Chiropractic.  In his particular case, he found that where medicine and physical therapy seemed to have some shortcomings, chiropractic succeeded. This inspired him to enroll at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon where he graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree Cum Laude in 2001.

Dr. Sue moved to Seattle in 2001 and began practice as an Associate Chiropractor at Lakeview Chiropractic in Kirkland, WA. While at Lakeview, he gained a wealth of clinical experience working with 2 other chiropractors with a collective 40 years of experience. Some of his community activities included starting a fundraiser for the Kirkland Boys and Girls Club to bring the issue of backpack safety to all school aged children in Kirkland.   Due to his desire to start out on his own and to stay in the Seattle area where he resides, he assumed ownership of University Chiropractic in 2005 from Dr. Neal Vitalis.

Dr. Sue embraces an integrative approach to healthcare and believes in working with a variety of professionals to achieve the best results for his patients. Above all he is passionate about educating his patients about conservative and preventative healthcare.  He enjoys seeing all types of patients and has special interests in sports injuries and TMJ disorders.  He is an active member of the American Academy of Spine Physicians

While not providing care for patients he enjoys studying the martial arts and taking on all outdoor pursuits.
